DEUTERONOMY 3,4

 23At that time I pleaded with the Lord: 24“Sovereign Lord, you have begun to show to your servant your greatness and your strong hand. For what god is there in heaven or on earth who can do the deeds and mighty works you do? 25Let me go over and see the good land beyond the Jordan—that fine hill country and Lebanon.”
26But because of you the Lord was angry with me and would not listen to me. “That is enough,” the Lord said. “Do not speak to me anymore about this matter. 27Go up to the top of Pisgah and look west and north and south and east. Look at the land with your own eyes, since you are not going to cross this Jordan. 28But commission Joshua, and encourage and strengthen him, for he will lead this people across and will cause them to inherit the land that you will see.” 29So we stayed in the valley near Beth Peor. 

MARK 11:20-33 

 22“Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. 23“Truly^f I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. 24Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. 25And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.” [26]^g 

JOURNAL

 Jesus' command is for us to have faith in God. It speaks directly to our hearts and asks us to be obedient.  In this obedience we will find the security of dealing with our troubles, our jealousies, our hurts, our wants.  These mountains that keep us from seeing and trusting God. In our obedience we will be able to remove these mountains and be secure and faithful in his love. 

In my deepest darkest places. I can have the security of knowing that God will meet me there. He will comfort me and he will light my path.
