JOEL 1-3

28“And afterward,

I will pour out my Spirit on all people.

Your sons and daughters will prophesy,

your old men will dream dreams,

your young men will see visions.

29Even on my servants, both men and women,

I will pour out my Spirit in those days.(2:28-29) 

REVELATION 4

9Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor and thanks to him who sits on the throne and who lives for ever and ever, 10the twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne and worship him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say:

11“You are worthy, our Lord and God,

to receive glory and honor and power,

for you created all things,

and by your will they were created

and have their being.”

JOURNAL 

Laying my crown before God and praising him...this is what I am to do as a believer. My Crown is my life...the life I breathe in each and every day. This is the crown God has given me...this is the gift and the inheritance of life. To try and keep and protect if for myself is essentially to waste it. To shrink back from hard things or challenges is a refusal to surrender and to give my best. My calling is full surrender and to turn loose any temptation of shrinking back, give my all every moment of every day. This is obedience and this is worship.

6Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. 7Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
