“Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none.”

GENESIS 36-37
3Now Israel loved Joseph more than any of his other sons, because he had been born to him in his old age; and he made an ornatea robe for him. 4When his brothers saw that their father loved him more than any of them, they hated him and could not speak a kind word to him.
MATTHEW 12:1-21
6I tell you that something greater than the temple is here. 7If you had known what these words mean, ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice,’a you would not have condemned the innocent. 8For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath.”
JOURNAL
The Pharisees chose lasts and traditions over people. The laws themselves became their Gods. This reminds me that God's intent is to love us and for us to love each other. The more I get consumed with things, procedures, processes the more I slip from loving people which is God's purpose and the reason for Christ's death.
