“You must live in the present, launch yourself on every wave...Fools stand on their island of opportunities and look toward another land. ”
JOURNAL
Unfortunately and way too often I find that I waste time worrying over what's next. While planning and the ability to imagine and dream is one of the gifts of being human, it's also a curse, especially when it robs us of the opportunities for life that exist right here, right now.
I often find that I have moments of clarity in my life where I really feel God has revealed truths about himself, about life and a clarity over what is really important. That's one of the reasons I started journaling. I often need these reminders in the tough times but also in the moments where life is good and all seems right with the world. Because it's in those moments where I can be tempted to take this gift of life for granted.
